Dr. H.R. Gough, D.V.M.
Veterinarian and Owner/Operator

Dr. H.R. Gough is a proud 1976 graduate of Purdue University. He has spent more than 40 years in Veterinary medicine and surgery. He has been serving Clarksville, Indiana and the surrounding areas since May of 1978, when he opened Clarksville Animal Hospital on Eastern Boulevard. Dr. Gough has managed and operated as a solo practitioner from the beginning.

His beloved late wife of 48 years, Karen, worked alongside him for many years as he grew his client base.

Dr. Gough has three daughters; Megan, Laura and Erin. He has five grandchildren. Ashton, Tristan and Vivian are Megan's children. Raegan and Nora Christina are Erin and her husband Cullen's daughters.

He has a French Bulldog named Margo. He bought her for his wife before her passing in 2018. Before Margo, they had another French Bulldog named Emma.

Gillian "Gigi"
Veterinary Assistant

Gillian is a 2017 graduate of Our Lady of Providence High School. She attended Indiana University Southeast and will be attending Murray State University starting Fall 2019. She will be majoring in pre-veterinary medicine.

Although her family has many pets, her personal pets are Dominic (leopard gecko), Mochi (mouse), and Totoro (guinea pig).

Gillian enjoys doing a variety of arts in her free time like drawing. Her drawings of animals are very good. She gave a drawing of a French Bulldog to Dr. Gough and Laura to welcome their puppy, Margo, in 2018.

Jennifer
Veterinary Assistant

Jennifer has a large, loving family with 7 brothers and 1 sister. She has 4 birds, 3 leopard geckos, 2 cats, 1 dog and fish as her personal pets.

Jennifer and Gillian bought 2 leopard geckos and set up a very nice habitat for them in the waiting room at Clarksville Animal Hospital. They named them Princess Yoshi and Princess Buttercup. They enjoy taking care of them and carrying them around.

In her free time, Jennifer likes to roller blade and ride horses. She wants to visit Ireland and Scotland one day.
